Why are the nisab values editable?
Common contemporary references use slightly different gram equivalents for the classical gold and silver nisab. AurumKit starts with 85 g of gold and 595 g of silver, but lets you change either value to match the standard you follow.
What about jewellery?
Scholarly approaches differ on whether personal gold jewellery is included in zakatable wealth. Enter only the gold you intend to include under the guidance you follow; AurumKit does not choose a school or interpretation for you.
